Researcher and PhD student at RWTH Aachen University
I received my Master's degree in Energy Engineering (focus Renewable Energies) from the RWTH Aachen University in 2017. During my studies, I worked at the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics in teaching and research. I wrote my master thesis at the Plataforma Solar de AlmerÃa (Spain) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) about short-term forecasting systems for solar power plants. Since November 2017, I'm PhD student and research assistant at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at RWTH Aachen University.

Optimization of Distributed Energy Systems with MILP formulations and
5th Generation District Heating and Cooling
As PhD student and research assistant, I'm involved in the research activities at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at RWTH Aachen University. Currently, my research activities deal with mathematical optimization methods (especially MILP formulations) applied to the design of urban energy systems, especially 5th generation district heating and cooling networks.
